Thievery Corporation

Thievery Corporation is a Washington, D.C. based  duo consisting of Rob Garza and Eric Hilton. Their music mixes elements of dub, acid jazz, reggae, Indian classical, Middle Eastern, and Brazilian, featuring lyrics in English, Spanish, French, Persian, Portuguese, Romanian and Hindi. Over the years, Thievery Corporation has become known for the festive atmosphere of their live shows, during which they bring out a 15-member band of musicians and vocalists. The duo has taken progressive political stances on various issues, against war and exploitation, and in support of human rights and food programs.
