As a part of a global community film launch, the Pender Harbour Community School will be hosting a special screening of Occupy Love on Thursday, April 11 at 7pm, School of Music, Madeira Park.

Occupy Love is a moving, transformative feature documentary film that asks the question: is it possible the current global economic and ecological crisis could become the world´s greatest love story? Director Velcrow Ripper (former Gibsons resident and Elphinstone student) takes us on a journey deep inside a global revolution that is erupting around the planet.

“What the film shows, triumphantly, is that love can unite as much as greed can divide.” – Vancouver International Film Festival

This community screening coincides with official global launch event, Thursday, April 11. The films´ organizers anticipate there will be hundreds of screenings on that day, all over the world.

If you want to be a part, we suggest you reserve your seat in advance by calling the Community School at 604.883.2826 or emailing [email protected] .

A suggested donation of $10 is appreciated with partial proceeds to the “Fierce Love” project. http://www.occupylove.org
